Could you be a volunteer?

No matter your age, sex, interest or skills, you can be a valuable asset to someone in need. BERUDEP enjoys the interaction with volunteers of all nationalities and both parties can learn so much from the exchange.

If you are self motivated and independent then this could be the volunteer experience for you. You must be able to run your own daily schedule, be productive and have plenty of initiative. BERUDEP is a self-funding, small Cameroonian organisation who can't afford to pay the wages of international volunteers but provide help wherever possible with information and support.

BERUDEP gives you the opportunity to grow your own skills and get as much out of the experience as you put in. You will be charged a one off administration fee and have to pay for your own personal living expenses and travel to Cameroon. The administration fee is US$300 if you are sponsoring yourself or US$500 if you are being sponsored by an institution.

This fee is payable to BERUDEP only on arrival - do not send any money prior to arrival.
